Nov 11: Observance - Veteran's Day
Armistice Day was established in 1926 to commemorate the signing in 1918 of the armistice ending World War I. On June 1, 1954 the name was changed to Veterans Day to honor all men and women who have served America in its armed forces.
Nov 21: Observance - Feast of Christ the King.
Christ the King Sunday celebrates the all-embracing authority of Christ as King and Lord of the cosmos. Officially called the Feast of Our Lord Jesus Christ the King, it is celebrated on the Sunday before Advent.
